I got this game, and was at first scared I was going to playing as another blonde dork like I had to in the second one, but my fears were eased, and I was romping around the jungle as Snake. 

One of my earliest confrontations in the game was an alligator.  I confess, the thing killed me the first time i saw it by smacking me repeatedly with it's tail.  I got my revenge though the next time by shooting it in the butt with a tranquilizer and eating him.  I went on to eat a rat and, yes eventually a snake.  Having eaten the snake I believe I have beaten the game.  It only took a half hour or so.  No much too it.  The game box says it has online play, but I could not unlock the snake eating competition mode.  I wonder what the trick is......
